Evangelizing & Bible Study

Updated: Apr 2

I shared the Gospel on the streets of Syracuse, NY. There were a lot of drug users and poor people. Some people did not want to hear us but some people did take time to listen. We also went to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility and stood on the side walk and prayed for the babies and the mothers. While I was evangelizing, I thought, “Do I need to share the Gospel with those who are not willing to listen?” I found the answer to that question at the teenagers Bible study group session that was held by a Christian family. The Gospel is for everyone and we should share the Gospel with every person. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commands His followers to share the Gospel to all the nations. However, we do not need to spend excessive time speaking with people who are not willing to listen to the Gospel. Matthew 10:14 says “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.” The idea is to move on to those who are receptive to the message of the Gospel.
